Gluvia dorsalis

Sun Scorpion - sometimes refered to with various names like camel spiders or wind scorpions. The list goes on. They are neither a scorpion or a spider. They are in the same group called arachnida along with spiders, scorpions, mites, ticks, harvestmen and a few others but are in their own order. This one I came across in the Algarve was about 15mm in length, so very small. Although some variations grow much larger. Harmless to humans.
