Bufotes viridis balearicus

Green Toad - mostly active during the night but during the breeding season can be actively calling in daylight as this one here. Native to Europe but absent from Britain, Ireland France. They have a distinct greenish-spotted pattern although some are much paler than the individual shown here. I came across this toad callingin the Son Real area of Majorca in Spain during May.
