Polyphaga (suborder)
Weevil - There are over 60,000 species of weevil! They can be damaging to crops. Some species can also infest grain and flour especially. They are not harmful to humans. On close examination weevils have a conspicuous snout. The few shown here were observed at Greaghnafarna Co. Leitrim.
