Sorex minutus

Rabbit - Feed on grassland and farm crops so is not a favourite of farmers! They live underground in burrows and have exceptional eyesight which enables them to do so. The term "breeding like rabbits" comes from the fact that the female can produce around 24 kittens each year. Photographs were taken in Derby and Cabanas de Tavira in Portugal.
